Welcome to my new blog!

Hello to all who are reading. My name is Miranda and I am attempting this whole blog thing with the help of my good friend Heather. I have wanted to do something like this ever since I started reading my friends blog, but I had reservations because I am not as articulte as her and didnt really know how i would write my thoughts. Well as you can see I have put all that aside and decided to take a stab at this. So, where to begin? Well as you already know my name is Miranda and I live in Rockford Illinois with my lovely family of 6. Yes you heard me correctly...6! My family includes me, my significant other Jason and my four beautiful daughters. Their ages are 10, 5, and 6 months (i have twins). Although I still am trying to wrap my mind around the fact that I am a mother of 4 girls, I am so unbelievably happy and blessed and wouldn't want my life any different. As you can imagine my daily life is pretty hectic and theres definatly never a dull moment, but its good because it keeps me busy. Well i really dont know what else to say about my family life so i will just go into what we did this weekend.

Heres a fun fact for the day: Rockford Illinois is the home of the sock monkey. We went to this sock monkey extravaganza this weekend and found that out. How neat! We had fun it was nice to just get out of the house...all 6 of us. The event was really expensive though, it cost $22 just for us to get in and then you had to pay an extra $20/person to make a sock monkey. CRAZY! So anyway we decided to not do the sock monkey and jsut stick to all of the free events seeing we already paid $22. The kids loved all of the art projects they got to do. We also got to go through the little meuseum, which told about the history of rockford and the sock monkey which was neat. So without further ado here are some pictures from our little trip.
